Newsletter Details

I send out emails to subscribers with the date and time of my next collection release in advance. I don’t share the time and date of collection releases on social media or anywhere else. The only way to get it is to be a newsletter subscriber. Newsletter subscribers get first choice and usually, by the time I do post about a collection release to social media, everything has already sold.
I occasionally will accept commission work and when I do, this announcement also goes out to newsletter subscribers first. Since I do this so rarely, the only way to get a commission piece is to also be a subscriber.
Why do I put so much emphasis on subscribers? Because a mailing list is fair. Social media platforms are fickle in what they decide to show people. Reaching out via email is the only way I can be sure that the people who want to see my work actually get to see my work.
I send one email about a week or so before a collection will be released with the date and time that it will go live in my shop. Then I send another one the day and time of the release. Since I only release four (or less) collections per year, this has been less than eight emails per year so far.
